The creamy, wonderful flavor of an egg salad without the mayo or the mess. YUM!
Hard Cooked Eggs, 6 to a pint.
Sweet vinegar brine to cover
I used the same vinegar solution from my Bread and Butter Pickles, and poured it into the jar cold. I let things sit in the fridge for about 2 weeks. If I'd have used the solution hot, I'm sure the color penetration would have been deeper.
The flavor was mildly sweet, and very tasty.
It's a winner!
